KIPP Academy Elementary, the first KIPP Elementary school, proudly celebrates 30 years and a National Robotics Championship win! We believe every child thrives when their strengths are at the center of learning. That’s why we offer opportunities like robotics, advanced programming, Success for All small reading groups, and Lab reading sessions. With class sizes of just 12–15 students, children receive personalized attention in reading, math, and beyond. Guided by our SPROUT values—Serenity, Pride, Respect, Optimism, Understanding, and Take a Risk—we nurture strong academics, character, and creativity every day.
What makes us unique is the warmth of our community and the way our teachers truly know every child. For 30 years, alongside our families, we’ve brought our SPROUT values to life, building a place where learning feels personal, joyful, and full of possibility.

Teacher-led, non-core classes that enrich the KIPP learning experience.
Enrichment programs and clubs let students explore passions and develop leadership skills.

At the end of the day, students keep learning and growing through our partnership with MMCC (Mosholu Montefiore Community Center) Afterschool, a trusted program right in our building that offers homework help, engaging activities, and a safe space to grow.
