About KIPP AMP Middle School

KIPP AMP Middle School is a lively, welcoming place where students are challenged and inspired every day. We pair a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum with rich opportunities in music, art, dance, and athletics so every child can discover and develop their passions. From mastering core subjects like English, Math, Science, and History to exploring creative and athletic pursuits, students receive a balanced education that sparks curiosity and a love of learning. Our dedicated teachers know each child well, offering personalized support and advanced opportunities—like earning high school Algebra credits in 7th or 8th grade—that open doors to future success. By partnering with parents and the community, students grow in confidence and character, prepared to excel in high school, college, career and beyond.

Fun Fact

KIPP AMP stands out for its whole-child approach that blends strong academics with vibrant, enriching experiences. Our world-class jazz music program and renowned Legacy Jazz Ensemble give students the thrill of performing with professional musicians. Championship sports teams, dynamic clubs like Theater, Animation, and Wrestling, and recognition from cultural icons such as Lincoln Center and the Brooklyn Museum highlight the wide horizons available to every child. Daily Pride Circles and thoughtful Advisory sessions nurture character, community, and social-emotional growth. With deep community partnerships and a culture that celebrates creativity and excellence, KIPP AMP is more than a school—it’s a launchpad for confident, well-rounded young leaders.
